Civil Service Board and Employment Opportunities

All full-time City of Weaver employees are civil service employees under the Weaver Civil Service Board.

Job openings are listed below under Employment Opportunities.  When there is a vacancy, applications will be available at the Weaver Police Department with instructions to return the application.  The Civil Service Board will conduct a test for the position, a list will be established, and an applicant will be chosen from the list.

Employment Opportunities

The Weaver Police Department is now accepting applications for POLICE OFFICER.

Applications are available at the Weaver Police Department located at 500 Anniston Street, and they must be returned to the police department or emailed to Chief Bush at wbush@weaveral.gov by Friday, July 26, 2024.  The written civil service exam will be given at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the Weaver Meeting Center located at 406 Anniston Street.
