The City of Weaver, Alabama, hereby gives notice of a public hearing to be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, in the municipal courtroom of Weaver City Hall located at 500 Anniston Street, Weaver, Alabama, for the purpose of discussion of the following business:
- Receiving public comments concerning the City of Weaver Comprehensive Plan
- The Comprehensive Plan is a general guide for the formulation of public policy and for directing future zoning, land use, and development decisions.
- This hearing will present the Comprehensive Plan draft for public comment.
- Representatives from the East Alabama Regional Planning and Development Commission will be in attendance to address any questions or concerns pertaining to the Plan.
- Interested citizens are encouraged to attend the hearing to offer their comments regarding the final draft of the plan.
