Public Safety

The City of Weaver provides its own public safety departments for the community. We provide a full-time police department that maintains routine patrols of the city 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Weaver also has a full-time code enforcement officer to ensure the community standards are met. The code enforcement officer is responsible for checking businesses, properties that may be in violation of codes and to ensure rental properties are being utilized correctly and remain code compliant.

The Weaver Fire Department is a fully volunteer department that responds to emergencies throughout the city. Although the volunteers do not receive a paycheck, they volunteer their time once a week to maintain training standards and monitor city issued radios for any emergency dispatches.

The court system that is located in the Weaver City Hall is a part of the Calhoun County District Court. Court is held on Tuesdays at 9:00 am twice per month (please check the calendar to verify the court dates).
